LatviaLinks uses a small amount of optional browser storage. It does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies.

What these rules cover
The familiar term cookie notice is used here for both cookies and similar browser-storage technologies. LatviaLinks currently uses localStorage, which keeps a small value for this website in your browser. The main LatviaLinks pages do not set a server-side session cookie.
You can read every page and use the phrase quiz without agreeing. Continuing without selecting Agree to all leaves optional preference storage disabled. Recipe collection tools store only when you use their save, recent-view or shopping-list buttons.
Selecting Agree to all means consent to every optional cookie and browser-storage preference purpose listed on this page. At present, that covers the consent record and permission to save the phrase-quiz best score and recipe-rating choices; it does not activate analytics or advertising cookies.

No analytics or advertising cookies
The Agree to all button does not activate Google Analytics, an advertising network or a behavioural-profiling service. LatviaLinks does not load a Stay22 browser script or map merely because you open a guide.
The notice asks only for permission to remember the local preferences listed above. If this purpose changes, these rules will be updated and an older choice will not be reused for a materially different purpose.
The Contact page uses a signed request token carried in the form itself. It does not need a LatviaLinks contact-form cookie or localStorage entry. Cloudflare Turnstile may process necessary browser and network signals to check the form for automated abuse, but LatviaLinks does not use that check for advertising or analytics. Recipe ratings can be submitted without browser storage; localStorage only remembers the choice after agreement. Saved recipes, recent recipes and shopping lists are user-started browser tools and do not create server-side storage.
Browser cache is separate
The LatviaLinks progressive web app may cache same-site pages and assets for performance and offline access. Cached files are not cookies and are not used as visitor identifiers. They can be removed with the browser's site-data controls.
External websites
Accommodation, source and social sharing links can take you to another website. That website may set its own cookies or use other storage after you open it. LatviaLinks does not control those external choices, so review the provider's privacy information before continuing.
How to clear your choice
Use your browser's privacy, cookies or site-data controls to remove data stored for latvialinks.com. Clearing localStorage removes the saved agreement, phrase-quiz best score, remembered recipe ratings, saved recipes, recently viewed recipes and shopping-list items. The compact notice appears again the next time the site loads.
You can also use Reset best score on the phrase quiz to remove only the saved score, or use My recipes to print, remove or clear recipe collection records while keeping the agreement.
